I’m Christine, Physical Therapist, Author, Movement expert, Total Body Tune Up Founder, Consultant, Speaker, Athlete, Injured Person and Inspiring force for people to learn to move better, improve alignment and be free to do all that they love! My Passion:

I want you and your body to feel better—and have it last across your lifespan. I hope to inspire you to be proactive with your body to prevent pain and injury from occurring. And I am so thrilled to be here to help! After going through a multitude of injuries myself, I’ve combined my personal insight, insider knowledge and specialty-certified physical therapy expertise to share with you the most effective techniques to get you strong from the inside-out, out of pain and back to your life fast!

Every day I see people with pain, injuries and degenerative arthritis that occurred as a result of small, faulty movement patterns that were repeated unknowingly day in and day out, for years. The good news is, we can correct those faults together during a thorough biomechanical assessment! I am here for you virtually wherever you are to analyze your movement, give you corrective strategies, and help your body move, feel and perform better now, and decades down the road!

My firsthand experience with injuries gave me insight I couldn't learn in a PT course. It forced me to innovate and come up with specific strategies and techniques that worked quickly to get myself back out enjoying my active life as well as continue to help people heal in the clinic.  I am here to share them with you to reignite the muscles deep in your body to help get you out of pain fast.

Christine Lynders, PT, OCS, CAFS, PCES, is a movement expert, author, public speaker, physical therapist and board certified orthopedic clinical specialist who specializes in total body biomechanical analysis, and injury prevention. Her passion stems from her injuries as a teen and as a collegiate athlete. She strives to help people of all ages to correct their movement patterns and biomechanics to prevent injuries so they can enjoy their life and activities across the lifespan without pain sidelining them. She’s the founder of Total Body Tune-Up, a total body biomechanical assessment designed to identify faulty movement patterns. Target the root cause of dysfunction and correct them to prevent future pain or injury. Her book, SUCK IT IN The Proven Solution to Eliminate Low Back Pain Forever and Get a Flatter stomach offers a game-changing secret missing link to solve back pain one and for all.

With over 27 years of experience as a physical therapist and movement specialist, Christine Lynders brings a blend of clinical expertise, personal experience, and heartfelt passion to her work. As Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Christine has dedicated her career to helping people recover from and prevent injuries, eliminate pain, and return to the activities they love—stronger than ever.

Christine is the creator of the Total Body Tune-Up, a biomechanical total-body assessment system designed to uncover hidden movement dysfunctions that often, if left unrecognized,  lead to pain and injury. Her deep understanding of the body's mechanics—paired with advanced manual therapy skills and movement re-education—drives her ability to find and treat the root cause of discomfort, not just the symptoms.

As a former Division I college athlete who endured multiple shoulder injuries and surgeries, Christine knows firsthand what it feels like to be sidelined by pain. Her own recovery journey inspired her to become a physical therapist and commit to the highest level of training so she could help others avoid the same setbacks—especially youth athletes. Today, she offers expert treadmill gait analysis, individualized treatment plans, and injury prevention strategies for active individuals of all ages.

Christine is very passionate about sharing her knowledge and expertise with the public.

She has spoken nationally and internationally on a variety of topics including:

  • Golf injury prevention and performance improvement program

For over four years, she hosted the educational wellness shows Movement Matters and Physical Therapy for a Better Life on ThinkTech Hawaii, where she empowered viewers with the tools to take control of their physical wellness in the comfort of their own homes.

And recently, Christine published the groundbreaking book, Suck It In: The Proven Solution to Eliminate Low Back Pain Forever and Get a Flatter Stomach, which breaks down her science-backed method for resolving low back pain into an easy-to-follow guide that helps people reconnect with their deep core muscles, eliminate pain, and be free to enjoy life fully.

Currently based in Kailua at Hana Pono Wellness, Christine works with clients both in person and virtually. Whether you’re a runner, a weekend warrior, a desk-bound professional, or simply someone who wants to move pain-free again, Christine is excited to help you get back to what you love. There is nothing more fulfilling to her than helping someone achieve their goals!

Outside the clinic, Christine enjoys surfing, running in the deep soft sand at Kalama Beach, and playing beach volleyball with friends.
